We have moved!
January 2025
We are pleased to announce that we have moved location from the Carterton Community Centre to the old "Day centre"(next to St Joseph's Primary school and Edith Moorhouse Primary School), OX18 3JY, which will be known as Dementia Active. We also pleased to inform you that Dementia Active and the Carterton Food Angels are in a wonderful partnership, we are looking forward to what we can achieve together, minding food waste and bringing the community together!
The Community Hub (Wednesdays)
What's happening at the moment?
​The Carterton Food Angels, in partnership with Dementia Active , are running a community hub available for all every Wednesday from 9 until 5:30. The Community Hub is located at the old "Day Center", next to Edith Moorhouse and St Joseph's primary schools, OX18 3JY. There will be hot fresh food provided, some sweet treats, as well as tea and coffee, and a place to catch up with friends and meet new people.
We have games for the children to play with and books for them to read from our 'Children's Library', we also have colouring and puzzles! The Community Hub is open to all. We welcome young mums, families, and elderly community members to visit! Even if it's just a catch up with friends. Please come along and say hello!
The Community Hub will be open on Wednesday 29th of January onwards.

What have we been up to?
We as a food bank have been invited on a number of occasions to caterer for the market. As always we aim to be affordable, family friendly and have limited waste. Our prices are fair for everyone attending the market, whether that be the public or stall owner.
The market in Carterton runs every Thursday from 10am-2pm. Keep a look out for us there and keep up to date by checking our facebook for updates. Make sure you come say hi and support us and get some yummy snacks!
